The reason why I opened this blog is because I wanna separate my obession in Justine Henin from my other personal blog. This blog will mainly be focused on my thoughts on her and her plays as well.
Frankly speaking, I nv was into Tennis that much and from the past I was pretty naive into thinking that the stronger ones are always the best, tht's why I used to like the Williams sisters alot (I'm not saying they are not great but oh well...) I only read news abt them from my local newspaper and whenever either of the sisters loses I will be pretty mad.
I thought I was really a fan of them but then I nv searched for their news nor info on the web not wad I was doing now for Justine...so wad made me change into liking Tennis that much?
It's pretty obvious:
Justine Henin. And how shameful of me to not know her existence b4 until her announcement of a comeback from retirement that I get to know who she is, what she achieved in the past..hey I said I nv was into Tennis tht much b4, so can't blame me!
And even so the first few games that I saw her play was from the AO ( her 2nd tournament from the comeback) and that's already enough to capture my heart. I was amazed by how Tennis can be so interesting after watching her play. Yah, I'm a bit sick of the usual power dominated games that seemed to become part of the routine in WTA nowadays..glad to know Justine and see her back.
Even though she lost to Serena Williams in the AO finals, she still played very well and if she can continue to improve from her current state, she can be no. 1 in the future (tht's what I hoped for-of course, so long as she's happy, I dun care if she's no.1 or not). With that said, I'm now looking forward to
8 march Indian Wells Tournament, hope she can win the title! Allez juju!
However, I may not be able to keep on updating this blog as I have my own studies and work to do but I'll nv give up on Justine so long as she still plays and she'll live in my heart forever!
Ok, as a start, here's some great pics of her:
This is an old pic of her though she still looks pretty much the same, still very strong looking :)
She looked cute! can see her eyes concentrating on hitting the ball. Some great concentration here!
A recent pic of her..after her comeback from retirement (a determined look)
