ADIDAS Benelux Clinic

Hello, long time no see, no smell, no hear! How's everyone doing lately? I know I haven't been actively updating this blog even though I'm still missing Justine a lot.

Here's the full photo album of the ADIDAS Benelux Clinic at Club Justine Henin, uploaded by Justine Henin Academy: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.522969951131333.1073741853.190494534378878&type=3

"The 25th october 2013 Adidas Benelux visit the Justine Henin Academyfor a awesome afternoon. The collaborators of Adidas Benelux was invited for a Tennis Clinic with Justine Henin."

I will post most of the photos but not all of them here, excited to see Ju holding on to a tennis racket and play again!!! Hahaha! (I'm getting lamer and lamer by secs, so beware of any lame captions)
Adidas big banner in Ju's club, a main sponsor and thank you for your support to Ju's projects!
If you can't sleep at night, try this lame solution: count the number of heads in this photo, finished? Repeat this process another 100 times. Still unable to sleep? Look at Ju's mesmerizing eyes in other photos of her, now dream.
Nice artistic decorations on the wall behind, just like Ju's tennis :)
I admire Ju's presentation composure, she looks so natural in giving speeches, like a boss! And I probably will stammer all the way until ppl feel like slapping me hard in the mouth hahaha (sorry for the violent desciption)
This has become my new wallpaper, Ju's smile attacks! Btw, there's gonna be a flooding of tennis balls behind soon.
3 youngsters, Ju still looking youthful in this photo. Yeah, motherly youthfully mother..wait, what?
nice to see them playing tennis with focus
The physical training room I assume? Nice putting her 2004 Olympics poster up there, a very good motivation!
It's more than a gym, training all your muscles and flexibility!
I feel like going there and try to do all these, hope I won't find myself on the ground, looking at my dirty shoes to the ceiling.
The step on ball thingy looks fun but tough to balance?
Shuttle run?
What is she smiling about? Looking pleased ^_^
Another potential wallpaper spotted!
they are so lucky Ju is at the opposite side of the net!
I wanna play with Justine too but then I mostly excel in playing "air tennis"
Ju in action!!! Haha, don't know why, but I find her very cute in this photo
Her expression nv changes, that seriousness when the ball is coming in contact with her racket! Look how focused her eyes are, fixed onto the ball
Backhand!!! Slice? Dropshot? I don't care, it's a backhand!!! So long didn't get the chance to see her this fabulous backhand...Ah, Ju is enjoying playing, good good, nice to see her enjoying tennis that much
That looks a little Roland Garros trophy replica, just a little elongated, but still a nice trophy, even nicer if presented by Ju herself

And because it's lunch time right now in my country, and I'm a little hungry, let me post these photos to make myself hungrier so that I will gobble up everything including the plates later:
The food that the restaurant in her club serves, looking delicious!
I bet everyone enjoyed the event!
Oh no, here comes my stomach washing machine!!!
Looking at them eating...did you hear it? "Gruuuuuuu...." That's the sound of the strong "detergent" acting up in my stomach washing machine...time for lunch! I'm stretching and ready for some mouth exercises!

On a side note, I really miss Justine a lot on court. I've recently watched some youtube clips of her wonderful single backhands and all the goosebumps were back again! Single backhanders are really a dying breed and even more to extinction for players like Justine :'-(

Recent Ju news updates sep-oct 2013

Aiyayah! Where have I stopped? Seems that there's a whole lot to update for, one moment (accumulated) of laziness can cause me to lag behind in updating Ju's news so much! I will post the news links, videos and pictures only, as for the content, you will have to be more hardworking than me to click on the links to view :)

Anyway, I'll start from the earliest to latest news sequence to update with, pls check out https://www.facebook.com/groups/justineheninmediaandnewsupdates/ for Danielle's English translation or use any reliable translator for French to your preferred language.

1) Ju participated in the cycling event of "Beau Vélo de RAVel":
Check out the videos, it's amusing! And I miss this sporty juju!
Staying fit and healthy for a good cause! I assume this photo is this year's event although Ju seems to wear the same as last year, must be the cute sporty jacket!
2) Les Copains d'Agadir supports of "JustineForKids" event (refer to this site:http://www.lescopainsdagadir.com/):
Always for the kids, Mama Juju
It's too small, I can't see what she wrote :-(  but it looks as artistic as her tennis! :-D
It must be very cold there, or rather, cool nice weather!
Thanks for the support to JFK!

3) Ju's perspective and emphasis on eating healthy (participate in the conference of the International Chair on Cardiometabolic Risk (ICCR)):

4) Olympic Committee president, belgian, Jacque Rogge retired, Justine pays tribute to him:
Ju in suit! She looks stunning though ^o^

The pics below are from Belgapics, anyone could find these without watermarks?
Just a watermarked version of her, same as the above photo, except that this, we can see her holding a stylish purse with a touch of blurriness of the whole photo
Feminine Ju wearing a dress! Her fashion style not bad, I like!
Ah~ once again, my mouth opened wide wide and my saliva flowing down again, Ju is so attractive!

The both retired famous and honorable belgians in their professions
What were they laughing about? Care to share?
Oh yes Ju's side view, I love it!
Omg, I'm totally electrified by her! Yes I'm supposed to be straight but Ju is so beautiful!
5) Cap 48 charity show, Justine experimenting wheelchair tennis with Joachim Gerald:

It must have been tough to play wheelchair tennis, have to move the wheelchair quickly and hit the ball in time...
Noticed how the wheels are inclined inwards, I wonder if it's custom made to play wheelchair tennis?
Joachim is truly an inspirational figure, just like Justine too!
The amazing backhand~~~~~unfortunately it failed when Justine played wheelchair tennis..it just isn't the same but I still love her backhand!
Unity is the strength!
The after match interview and thoughts?
Ju must be trying to get the hang of being in a wheelchair and playing tennis with it

Do watch the video, missing Justine with a tennis racket so much!!!!

6) Justine Henin Academy Camps in Aberdeen, Scotland
Briefing??
Fitness training
More Fitness training
The top coaches from Justine Henin Academy who go to the camp
Justine was personally present at the camp as well, lucky for the kids!
Uploaded by Danielle onto the facebook page, I've conveniently and thick skinned as usual to steal it here

Here's the news journal typed and shared by Danielle, let me copy and paste here:

18 oct. 2013The Press and Journal (North-East)BY DANNY LAW
Henin’s Granite City talent search

Seven-time tennis grand slam winner Justine Henin was in Aberdeen yesterday to help discover the next Andy Murray.
The former world number one held a camp at Westburn Tennis Centre this week to pass on some tips to 16 of the northeast’s most promising tennis players aged 12 to 18.
Henin is not surprised the sport’s popularity is booming given Murray’s successes and the Belgian expects the Scot to add to his Wimbledon and US Open titles before too long.
She said: “Andy is a massive inspiration for the young people because of the way he plays.
“Everyone was desperate for him to win Wimbledon for so long and it was great to see him finally do it.
“He has grown up a lot in the last two years and I have been really impressed with the way he has improved – I think this is only the beginning for him. “I see no reason why he can’t continue that over the next few years.”
Henin, whose superb tennis career was cut short by injury, was hugely impressed by the talent on show at Westburn Tennis Centre yesterday. The 31- year- old added: “Usually the children come across to our academy in Belgium but we decided to bring our academy coaches to the children on this occasion.
“I think the week has been a success. We have seen some good players but more importantly we have seen the right commitment, respect and attitude.
“The philosophy behind our academy is that no matter what level someone plays at, we want to see that commitment and respect for others.

“We don’t expect them all to be champions but they have to listen to the coaches and work hard.”

7) Side news (others):
  • Justine Henin working with Daniela Seguel:
Selectively chosen a few:

Phew, I've finally managed to update them all here, thanks to Danielle for Justine's news updates too! Now awaiting for upcoming events like Televie and hopefully we have more wonderful photos of Justine! Cheers and good luck to all!

Recent Photos of Ju-Kidibul and Club Team Building

Some recent photos of Justine which I've gotten from facebook. One album is "Coupe Kidibul" uploaded by David Goffin and the other is "Club Justine Henin and  Academy Team Building" uploaded by Justine Henin Academy of course! There are also photos of "Summer Camp Clinic with Ju" but I didn't upload here. Pls go here and here to check it out, adorable kids and adorable Justine =)

The below photos are resized to fit in this small little blog. Can click on the photo itself for actual resolution. I will upload mostly those with petite Juju inside.

Ok, which one first? I think I shall start with the older event one which is (drum rolls....ok, forget it)- Tada! Coupe Kidibul!

*Warning! Ignore the boring lame captions, if you want a nice peaceful beautiful day with no craps, enjoy!*
Is Kidibul's lucky creature, a crocodile or? Anyway, all of them are cute, yes very cute! Handsome Goffin has a baby face, hehe...
I'm sorry handsome David, my attention was diverted towards that beautiful little lady behind you, who was surrounded by beautiful children!
As the saying goes..."No matter how Justine's face has been blocked (in this case, the tennis racket), you can't hide her beauty inside out!" Ok, now you're wondering who said that...well it's said by a bad lame fan of Juju in the name of "Chia S.T." Pls do not go figure who this is..in case your murder instinct gets triggered
So this is the awards ceremony or gift giving ceremony?
The kid is happy with the tasty drink he gets! Juju looks like she wanna gets a taste of that drink too!
Wait, I saw this guy before...so he's someone related to Kidibul? Or is he the director of Kidibul? Anyway, thanks for the support to Justine, David and the kids!
Heh...same smile~ just like this (^_^)
haha looks like Ju and David doesn't practise any synchronization at all. Comparing to the previous photo, Justine was clapping her hands while David was folding his arms. A complete contrast to this photo where it was the reverse.

Ok that's all for the happy Kidibul event. Now comes the happy team bonding for Club and Academy of Justine Henin:
It's a small group of ppl but the joy is immense and the bond is strong!
First the briefing...I believe is all about the safety checking and the rules of the games...spot Juju pls
And then off they go! Juju is doing the harness check?
Ah~ reminds me of my secondary school adventure camp and man, I love it! Judging by looking at this photo, I'm assuming, Justine is trying to bring that "bicycle?" towards her and ride it across the wooden board.
Time to unleash the kiddy inner self. Let's play! ~Whoosh-Not. Our juju is cautiously sliding down while holding onto the rope.
Time for a cheeky pose! Ah, I miss the tongue sticking out photos of Justine (last time was on a tennis court), super CUTE!!!
And they end the day with a group postcard or something as a souvenir

In case you're wondering why I post this photo, it's pretty obvious because there's Justine in it, or should I say, there's Justine's arm in it. Preparing for dinner?
Motherly Juju "strikes" again! Hmmm, perhaps Justine, you need a bigger knife in cutting the meat? I would feel very honored to get to taste your cooking. Don't worry, I'm no culinary expert, so I won't comment anything, so Ju, would you mind FedEx or DHL me the dishes that you've cook? Expiry date will take into consideration later...

So that's the end of all the photos I wanna post and all the crappy captions I've managed to come up with. Anyone really has read them all? If so....I would like to ask, "How's your day?"

The journal of Justine

As any Ju's fan would know, Ju had this journal that contains her thoughts on the Grand Slams this year. She didn't really publicizes it during the US Open but out of curiosity, I still go back and check it out. To my surprise, she did update it!

It's in French though...(still in the process of learning French-need help with Google translator for her journal entries)

Anyway, here's her 5/9/2013 journal (translated in English using google translator):
There's still some part not translated well, but I think it's understandable :-)
Hi everyone,

I'm really happy with the qualification Richard Gasquet for half finales.J 'love David Ferrer but it's true that this kind of victory is a huge change in the career that has français.Lui reputation of being physically and mentally he is now proving that he grew quite fragile in these areas ... which are also closely related. When you feel physically strong you feel stronger in automatically tête.Les fears wane at many levels when we know that it is capable of holding a long match intense.Gasquet fought like a lion to beat Raonic in 5 sets to turn précédent.Alors when he found himself cornered 5th set counter Ferrer knew he was now able to handle this kind of situation and to impose on finish.Cela called confidence and it is so capital ... believe in yourself and your attitude rêves.Son , the way he walks were well différentes.ll the French had the upper head and sends a strong message to his adversaires.Cela will suffice may not face Rafa impressive but it is a very important development in his career.
Nadal just I still want to evoke the admiration I have for him. Such intensity and concentration which once again in his quarter-final against Robredo! He does not let anything, it is jamais.Et in training that puts it all in site. Each ball is played thoroughly so it causes the brain to be alert permanent.Cela impresses me a lot and reminds me of my physical trainer Pat Etcheberry who always told me "This is the workout tournaments Grand Chelem.Plus we earn we train harder and it will be easy match." He was right. ...
Today superb program with 2 quarterfinals men passionnants.Ce ahead will be difficult for Youzhny against Djokovic but he has nothing to lose russe.Quand Wawrinka to face Murray it will be quite a physical fight and a very Swiss tactique.Le duel plays tennis exceptional in this tournament and could create a surprise if Murray does not raise his game significantly.

I can not wait to look at it anyway and find yourself tomorrow to debrief!

Beautiful evening to all.

Justine Henin supports the Red Devils ... in kilts! (Google translated title)

Some news on Justine again! Thank you once again to Danielle for the news links (translation of the article after the video):
http://www.dhnet.be/sports/football/diablesrouges/justine-henin-supporte-les-diables-rouges-en-kilt-521f685e35704e3d2f7164d1#media_1

Here's the video I've stolen (I admitted that) and uploaded onto youtube:
I like this video, though Justine is like a "stick" as always, maybe her body is a fats burning machine...well I really have to take my hats off to Justine, look at how pro she is in ball kicking. The only special thing I've ever tried kicking a ball is with my slippers on, but look at Justine-she's on complete new level with high heels! And the best number of continuous kicks I could get is 3-4, Justine...ever consider a new career in Soccer? Oh and I love her *eleven claps* Belgium!

Here's Danielle's English translation of the article:
Justine Henin supports the Red Devils in kilt!
ON-LINE WRITING on Thursday, August 29th, 2013 at 5:38 pm

RED DEVILS Thanks to Belgacom, win a VIP journey for two persons in Glasgow. And, as Justine, you can support the Red Devils in black kilt there - yellow - red!
It is not any more a secret, because the tension rises from day to day, on September 6th of this year the Red Devils will play in the Scotland a new major match for the World cup.

To celebrate the event, Belgacom and Inbev joins to distribute on the spot 4000 kits red yellow black.

Present in the village of the Red Devils (more than 6000 Belgians are expected), Belgacom will supply a free WiFi access to supporters so that they can post their photos on Facebook and so share the atmosphere with the rest of the troops stayed in the country.

To encourage our national team, numerous Belgian personalities wanted to bring their support for the Devils. Justine Henin, Sandra Kim, Sven Nys, wear the kilt and testify of their sympathy.

Furthermore, a VIP journey for 2 persons is to gain as well as other gadgets Red Devils (watches, comic strips, key ring). How? Nothing more simple, it is enough to play the competition and to guess Justine Henin's forecast and number of participants in the competition.

You will be lucky enough then maybe to go to attend the live match.
