Randomness...What If? Feelings of idolizing

I have sometimes wondered, what if, one day, I no longer feel as obsessed in Justine as before? What if, let's just simply say, I no longer love Justine anymore, how will it be?

To others, life goes on as usual, but for me, there's some differences. Ok, I'm gonna selfishly push the blame to Juju, for "taking" most of my other sources of entertainment away. Ever since I've got the "Justine addiction", I no longer am watching any drama series, feel much lesser urge to watch movies and play games, no more variety shows on TV for me. That's because I enjoy watching Justine's tennis. It really has become part of my life at one point in time where I would rather watch her tennis than to go out or watching any TV dramas.

I remember the time in 2010 when Justine was playing in Stuttgart (If I didn't remember wrongly, it's scheduled at past midnight for my timezone), I tried to sleep but I would flip here and there in bed, thinking about how's Justine playing in the match. In the end, I would get up, switch on my com and anxiously watching Justine playing her matches. If Justine had lost, I would have of course been feeling very very down with my face as black as charcoal but luckily I've witnessed Justine's victory and happily went to bed but well, I got the adrenalin rush still inside me, so I was unable to sleep too. Ah~ the memories, all coming back to me now...

Ppl may think I'm crazy and stupid, maybe I was, just a little. I know it's not good to get obsessed in someone whom I didn't even know personally and who didn't even know my existence at all too. But it's my first time having a sports idol and it wasn't the same as "idolizing" the stars in entertainment industry. Before Justine, I do have 2 other idols, both in the entertainment industry, so I know how different it feels.

Watching Justine losing a match can make me lose my appetite (alright, I admit, a glutton me will still stomach down some food no matter what)..When Justine retired in 2011, upon learning that news and the touching goodbye message that she wrote to her fans made me cry for days (maybe a little exaggerated but well it's the same to me. Sorry, I'm just an emotional crying baby.)

The reason why I reacted that much was probably because it was too abrupt and hard for me to accept the truth since I've just started liking Justine in 2010 and expected to watch more of her tennis for many years. I've already grown emotionally attached to Justine. I admire her fighting spirit, her talent and even her cool nature on court where she would show no mercy to her opponents. I admire all that and even much more when I learnt some of her life story and knowing how kind hearted she actually is, outside of tennis. .I really wondered how some of her fans can last that long, liking her for years, some since 2003 or much earlier, and continued to support her when she made her comeback in 2010. To think they even had to endure the pain of her retiring twice in 2008 and 2011...I salute them!

I do not know how long I can keep liking Justine, no one will be affected for sure if I no longer liked her, but if that happens,  all I can say is that I've no regrets for the pains and joys, tears and laughter that Justine had brought to me. Justine is the first person to make me see Tennis in a different light, as an interesting sport that can be played very artistically, tactically, and truly appreciate the sport. Thank you Justine!

It's funny somehow, after Justine retired, I felt I was "released" from the stress, the adrenalin and sleepless nights and slowly getting back to my "normal" life, lol! But like I'd said, I will nv regret it, in fact, I treasure those moments.

There's actually many more things I wanna say but I decided to call it a day...(it's past 2am now) oops!
Had no idea why I'm getting so emo tonight and suddenly wanted to talk about this topic..I hope my love for Justine will be forever, she's my inspiration and motivation to work harder and nv gives up without trying!

Good news for me: Watching/re-watching her past matches does rekindle some of the "lost love" if ever, for her, haha! Just simply knowing that she's living good and happy now is enough to make me smile in my sleep, good night world!

Randomness-bye bye to my hotmail acc

I'm saying bye bye to my hotmail account since it was suddenly inaccessible. Weird thing was, I was still using it yesterday morning, checked emails, accidentally closed the browser, restarted my browser, tried to get back to hotmail, and then it showed me this (it happened just in minutes time):

Yeah right, I clicked next and followed every steps to try to verify myself as the righteous owner of this account but it just wouldn't work! Searched online and found that I wasn't the only one who couldn't retrieve back my account:

Sad but have to say good bye to my this personal email account which had been slightly more than a decade old...created since secondary school. 

I had to re-link my facebook, twitter, blogger and some others to my other email accounts, thanks to the inflexibility and frustrating hotmail verification, also thanks to the stupid careless me who I think had my own com infected with viruses (Ever since I had my OS as ubuntu, I haven't installed any anti-viruses software for it, I should've known..damn it!) Lesson learnt!

Bye bye hotmail and hello Yahoo and Gmail! Sorry to this blog for my random ranting because I felt so frustrated that I've lost all my emails in it!

Failure is the mother of success

"Failure is the mother of success"...this phrase, just like the Chinese has their saying: "失败是成功之母". Everyone has failures before, failure isn't that bad, it actually makes one learns on the mistakes and nv to repeat them in order to succeed. Compared to those who have nv failed before, if one day it happened that the perfect he/she has made a mistake and failed, I'm not sure how well he/she could have cope with it. Failure sometimes makes us humble and think through what went wrong.

Nope, I'm not going to start my essay writing, don't worry, it's just the "lack-of Justine-tennis-and-entertainment" syndrome that's acting up. And the thought of blogging this topic all because of my lousy cooking of an egg...can you believe it? Yes cooking an egg and I started to try to be philosophical.

Two days ago, I was talking to my friend about how I tried to cook a sunny side up egg, but I failed at cooking even for the simplest task, so the sunny side up of course is super out of shape..so instead of crying out loud, I just decided to make it a scrambled egg since it already looked like one! The end result is that it is still edible ;)

Oh, and not sure how's Justine's cooking so far...does she cook often now? I know in the past, she probably don't cook that much..cooking like once in a blue blue blue moon. Now, with little Lalie and Benoit, it may be different?

Anyway, speaking of cooking, makes me wanna relates again to this video clip of Justine where her mission is to cook something?
So what do you think of her ability to cook? She certainly is artistic lol! Oh Juju...How I miss you so much! Pls stay happy and healthy, that's all I would wish for...

Sorry for not blogging frequently, but as always, I'm still crazy for Justine haha!
Currently busy with work, learning to drive (yes I wish one day I could get my car license and qualified to drive like Justine...eh...maybe except for the "dangerous driving" as Justine said of herself, she loves driving fast eh!) and also, I'll be away for my grad trip to Korea soon in mid Oct until near end of Oct ;)

Off for a week

Hello all, Olympics 2012 is finally over and this blog is still alive although I think I need a 1 week break from blogging to settle some shits, yeah, alot of shits to deal with and get it done with. But I ain't forgetting our lovely queen Juju!

The moment when Justine found out that she won the gold medal, the expression is priceless! 

This is a nice perfect pic symbolizes "glory", the fact that Ju had that illness in 2004 and being able to win this gold medal is simply amazing! No amount of words can describe it, just watch the video online. SF against Myskina, woohoo! 

And yup, I'll probably post this picture of Justine every 4 years during Olympics period, because Ju really have this Greek goddess in her look, she looks smart and beautiful!

Justine Henin Academy new restaurant-"La Vache sur le Toit"

Finally! I got rid of the youtube copyright questions (although I got a copyright strike-warning). It's funny how I can pass the questions with the same answers when I was logged into "Ubuntu" system and not on "Windows" system, sorry for the confusion but I think my laptop is having some problems especially in Windows system. Love Ubuntu, it's free and stylish but I had so many programs that are compatible with Windows and it would be too much of a hassle to make them work in Ubuntu. http://www.ubuntu.com/

Anyway, just here to say that I'll continue to upload the rest of the videos but if I got another strike, I'll have to stop with my current JHMatches account and create another one. Don't wanna risk having the account closed with 3 strikes and all the videos uploaded will be gone forever!

And I am having "Missing-Justine-Henin" allergy (can I even use this word?) now...time flies and it's been 2.5 years since I first became "obsessed" in Justine. According to Danielle, this is a BBQ for the inauguration of the new restaurant "La Vache sur le Toit", looks colourful and let me guess the food, baby tomatoes and cherries and beef, sausage, pasta, salad, potato, fish, chicken, pork, cucumbers and sauces..I guess it's tasty!

A lone cow on the roof, that's the definition of the restaurant's name, sorry folks, you can't eat it, it is protected by Justine Henin Academy's staffs (even if you want to, I doubt you can reach it)

I wonder how they transported it on the roof, is it heavy or very light?

Is that an Air-Con below rooted to the ground? It looks like it but I thought air-cons normally are placed at the top as it would make it cooler, but I guess maybe the club there is not as hot as it is in Singapore here

I suppose the kids or the players dine at this restaurant with specially provided nutritious meal! And isn't it nice to be able to check if there's any food stains on you mouth area and clothes with that big mirror behind? This restaurant will be a very good place for lovers, so romantic feel ah! Mr Cute, come more often with Juju ya!  

You know, we could organize a mini "The Amazing Race" with one of the questions as "How many cows (including the silhouette) and lighting are there in the restaurant?"

The red-wine...Justine wearing red and drinking wine (or is that just champagne/plain water?) Anyway, Ju seems to love wearing red. And she has a pink wristband on her right..I saw a pink wristband on her too from photos when she was at the JFK marathon event. Is it the same wristband? 

Now I'm off to watch Ju's matches! I've just downloaded the men's matches SF and F for the Wimbledon, finished watching the SF, left the finals, love you Roger, reminds me of Justine with that single backhand, yummy!

I'll be rather busy from now on...project development phase has started but I still miss Justine as ever...be back to blog soon. Today I'm so super happy, my sunshine bought me two shirts from Australia that has the word "Justine" printed on them. One of them even said "Tennis Queen" and right it's Justine! Just the name Justine on the shirt already made me so happy :P

Tired...

Sorry, wanted to update something on Ju today but pretty tired...I guess not much work at work makes you becoming lazily tired...too much work at work also makes your brain drained tired. For me, currently is the former =X but I believe it will be the latter later in the future..

Anyway, everyday I've been "stalking" the new website of the Justine Henin Academy, checking whether it's being done and fully functional...still under construction though. I like its simple design, the colour scheme is the same as "Chez Justine" website, using bright pink as the base for it's logo. At least they complement each other well. Justine for Kids website also not fully completed yet...

But the bitchy me still wanna kick up a little fuss here and complain: "Juju, can you please post something on facebook or twitter? Even if it's a simple "Hello" I'll be contented.

Just joking, I know Justine is very busy managing her club, I'm just so bored and tired...see you in dreams, Justine, and hope you teach me tennis in dreams :-P

Work has started and I am gonna be pretty busy..although now the workload is not heavy because I just started work but I don't think I can update this blog during work.

I will divide it by parts, since there will be alot of pictures...and meanwhile, I'm slowly uploading the matches of Justine on youtube. Be patience with me, my network bandwidth is limited and slow.

So I see, there's some old videos and a upcoming one of Justine on rtbf site. But damn it, I dunno why my network sux or my ISP got some problem (last time no problem de), I just couldn't get into the site. I used proxy to manage to get into the site but couldn't view the videos...wtf? And I could access other belgium websites like sporza and dh.be, etc...but not rtbf. Hello all, sorry if it seems that this blog becoming a "weekly" blog,  lol! My flu has recovered, Allez! And tmr I'm gg for an interview, god wish me luck pls!

Anyway, though I haven't been blogging recently, I nv had a day without missing Justine, she is just too special to be forgotten. Using Celine's song again to say to Ju: Je ne vous oublie pas, non, Jamais!

Speaking of Celine Dion, I know she's one of Justine's fav singers. Actually b4 knowing Justine, I already liked Celine's voice but I admit because of Justine, I tried to listen to her french songs and I loved her french songs more than her English songs. The list below are her songs which I kept listening to, including English one:

And Justine, I don't mind if you launch a singing career as well. True enough you may not have the variable vocal length that Celine has but you have a nice unique attractive voice which I loved. 

Sorry if today's topic has very little to do with Justine but in fact it's because of Justine I get to listen to beautiful French songs! I enjoy all kinds of music if I find them nice to listen to for me, no matter the language, genre.

Busy busy

Sorry I haven't been blogging for long...was rushing to complete my attachment report due in 2 weeks time?
I will blog again soon when everything's done and my next topic is gonna be randomness again =X

Though I have stopped playing Sims Social on Facebook, I've screen captured it and made a home dedicated to Justine because my Sims character's name is Juju =P

Will post a lot of random pictures in the next post with the Sims house for Juju, but right now...I'm gonna go and finish my super brain energy wasting report. God bless all of us!

Congrats to Sammy for the GS champion!

I'm sorry I haven't been updating this blog for many days, been pretty busy this whole week and also the stuffs at work (internship).

So I was surprised although very very happy that Sam Stosur won the US Open! I didn't watch the match but I watched some of the highlights of her on the US Open site and I must say, (please forgive me if I said anything wrong first) that she kinda reminds me of Justine. The way she does her backhand slices, the wonderful net play and forehand, they looked so similar to Justine in some ways plus both of them are so cool and gracious in winnning and also in defeat. I admire Sam for being the hard worker just like Justine who worked hard to achieve the deserving title!

As for Serena, sorry, I still do not like you and perhaps never will. I don't intend to bash you or what in this blog but what you've done and what you've said to the umpire, to me, is totally very classless or rather, childish. And it wasn't the first time already which in any case, I won't hold any respect for you no matter how many GS you've achieved because, you aren't the true champion with the graciousness and the elegance in my heart.
Anyway, I can't be bothered with Serena, I just wanna congratulate the new grand slam winner-> Samantha Stosur! Thank you for the wonderful play which I heard was a splendid performance on your side. Keep up the good work and hope you can continue playing such good tennis!

I'm sad that Roger lost but I'm ok with anyone in the top 4 from the men's side to win the title since I don't really am that into them but the advantage is that, I can watch their matches without heart attacks which I've got from Justine's multiple times and am happy for whoever won since what they displayed had been so high quality so far :)

Oh, Justine, I still miss your tennis and of course you as a person....I will blog about you again with my humourless, senseless and randomness thoughts, in the next few days...off to bed! Bonne Nuit!
